Lecture Listing – Geologic Quirks of the Sandia Mountains

Back by popular demand! The Friends of Coronado State Monument welcome Dirk Van Hart, local geologist, who will discuss the geologic history of our Sandia Mountains with an emphasis on some of its unusual features. The talk will be given in terms easily understood by a general audience, but will be greatly appreciated by those with a scientific background. Come enjoy one of our most popular speakers and learn more about the forces of nature that created our beautiful, quirky Mountain.
