Discover New Mexico's Travel Dog Blog
Greetings fellow canines. My name is Missy and I am your host at the Discover New Mexico Travel Dog Blog. I am traveling on the road with my people and busy scouting the best in everything for dogs on the move. I will bring you the best places for dumpsters and scraps, the best-marked locations, tips on retrieving camp food, getting out of your collar and leash and anything else I can dig up out here on the road!
My first road dog-stop was at the Albuquerque Central KOA and it rates high on the dog-approved list because it was pet-friendly (of course, or I wouldn’t have been there). It had a community grill (that means more people, more food and I am a food expert), and best of all it had TWO fenced dog-runs for our relaxation and pleasure and one of the dog runs even had its very own Jungle Gym for dogs! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Since this is my first blog on my first trip, I am sharing a photo of my companions and I in our “travel” beds; crammed in like sardines, we nap as best we can. But hey, I go where my people go because they have the food!
We only have room for two dog beds; the big guy took mine so I have to share with the squirt.
I’ll be back with more from the road so mark this site (pardon the pun) and visit often to find out how you can make the best of road-tripping with your people!
