Interested in the history of the old west and film? This is an older documentary but it is chock full of vintage photos and the history of Las Vegas, New Mexico all the way back to its location participation in the earliest silent westerns.

According to the film, Las Vegas, New Mexico, was one of the roughest towns in the west with even more killings than Tombstone, Arizona. Rough-riders, gamblers, hangings and shoot-outs were raging in the 1800s in Las Vegas.
