Three of New Mexico’s ski resorts, Pajarito, Sipapu, and Red River, have been listed in the Ten Best Off-the-radar Ski Destinations according to 10best.com

Pajarito is the tiny ski area tucked away high above the Secret City, Los Alamos. Originally developed for the skiing scientists of Los Alamos Laboratories, it now offers public skiing and snowboarding without lines or cluttered slopes. The perfect New Mexico ski get-away.

The family-owned Sipapu is another small and secluded resort offering great lift prices and a family fun environment with lodging available on site; located south of Taos and northeast of Santa Fe.

Red River Ski Area is located in the charming, western-styled village of Red River. Red Red River has it all: fantastic slopes, family environment and plenty of lodging and activities while retaining that small-town atmosphere. It is far enough away from it all to keep it off that beaten track as reported by 10best.com
