Synopsys: Dr. Thompson, who recently authored The Women of the Santa Fe Trail calling them, “The most tenacious and resilient women,” will dispel the myth that the West was tamed by cowboys, ranchers, explorers, the US Cavalry, and gold miners, not to mention women of questionable “character.” Enjoy her talk about the colorful and diverse women who came west along the Santa Fe Trail, stayed, made homes, and left their mark as Real Housewives of the Santa Fe Trail.
