2011 Clovis Music Festival Tickets!
“The Biggest Little Music City in
the World” Clovis, New Mexico is throwing its
annual party to celebrate the city’s Rock & Roll
heritage – the Clovis Music Festival! This
year’s festivities will take place September 8th
– 11th and tickets can now be purchased in
person at the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of
Commerce at 105 E. Grand Ave., by phone at (575)
763-3435, or online at
www.clovismusicfestival.net . Tickets are
$20 for Thursday and Friday night, and $25 for
Saturday night, a great deal for a full night of
lively entertainment and Rock and Roll fun!
The Clovis Chamber of Commerce
offices, located at 105 E. Grand Ave, have
extend its hours of operation to include 12-1pm
so stop by on your lunch break and get your
tickets for an evening of fun rock and roll! Our
doors are open 8am-5pm.
The Clovis Music Festival will be
held at the Curry County Events Center at 1900
Brady Ave in Clovis, NM on Friday and Saturday
with the opening night at Marshall Auditorium.
This year General Admission Tickets will have
access to floor seats as well as bleacher seats.
A limited number of General Admission seats are
available so make sure to come early and get
some of the best seats in the house!
The Clovis Music Festival,
originated by Clovis recording giant Norman
Petty’s widow Vi, is held annually during the
first week of September and showcases live music
that celebrates the spirit of the “Clovis
Sound.” Nationally acclaimed recording artists
appear at the Festival every year in order to
pay homage to one of the most influential cities
in Rock & Roll history. This year’s lineup
includes Lonestar, Will Banister and the
Mulberry Band, The Fireballs, The Liverpool
Legends, Tommy Allsup, and as always The
Originators of Rock and Roll- Johnny Rogers as
“Buddy Holly”, Bobby Brooks as “Little Richard”,
Darrel Croy as “Jerry Lee Lewis” and Donny
Edwards as “Elvis”!
Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m. will feature The
Buddy Holly Story at Marshall Auditorium.
Friday, September 9 at 7 p.m. in Curry County
Events Center, be sure to catch The Fireballs
and The Liverpool Legends.
On
Saturday, September 10 at 7 p.m. Tommy Allsup,
Will banister and The Mulberry Band will open up
for Lonestar!
To
wrap up the event come out Sunday, September 11
at 10 a.m. to the Rockin Gospel with The
Fireballs and Tommy Allsup located in the Norman
& Vi Petty Rock & Roll Museum.
The Clovis Music Festival will
also include a Car Show, Motorcycle Rally,
Rockin’ Symposium, and tours of the Norman Petty
Studios and Rock & Roll Museum.
